They are complimentary to the seven maps above - these fourteen maps combined they give complete coverage of Greece. These maps cover the major island groups at scales of 1:195,000 to 1:250,000. Sample detail of the Greece regional maps The seven maps below cover the mainland portion of Greece plus Crete, all at 1:250,000 scale. Each map usually contains a few city center inset maps of major cities in the area, etc. The Orama maps look nearly identical to Road Editions and include contour lines, spot heights, distances along roads, towns with hotels, camp sites, museums, archeological sites, hospitals, etc. Orama Editions purchased Road Editions a year or so ago and has incorporated Road Editions well-known cartography into their own maps. Includes index, glossary of useful words and abbreviations, and a driving distance/time chart. The map indicates which towns have entries in Michelin's Green Guide to sightseeing in Greece. Most of the place names are in Greek script as well as the western alphabet. National and county borders are also shown. The map also shows scenic routes, forests, and hilly areas are shown by relief shading. Road distance between specified points are indicated. ![]() The road network is clearly portrayed against an uncluttered background, with roads classified by width and steep gradients indicated, so it is easy to plan your preferred route. An excellent single-sheet map of Greece, ideal for driving trips or as an overview map for planning excursions. The reverse side of the map details the southern portion of Greece showing the islands down to Crete. There are insets detailing the islands of Kerkyra and Zakynthos.
