Originally posted by Mantose:Ok, so I used the counter. so I am very confused.Īnyway I give up for now my brain hurts. I changed the 90 to 85 and it works sometimes on the 4th wall but it breaks on the 5th or the 6th wall. One of the is -182 but the gyro goes to 180 or somthing like that after it hits -180, so the bot spins in a circle forever when the counter goes to -2 at the 4th wall. with the new gyro flipping back to positive numbers after -180 is my solution with. that keeps the bot from turning too far one way or the other.( or if the number is 0 then one is -2 and the other is 2) So when 90 is set the are set to 92 and 88. 1X90 = 90 and then I have that split through boards, those are attached to the motors. So the count is attached to a "multiplication" board and a static number of 90 is also attached to the board. The counter will tick up 1 every time the bot detects a red wall and will tick down 1 everytime it detects a blue wall. My brain is now fried trying to think of a new solution. So my solution would have worked with the old gyro but it wont work with the new gyro. ![]() The difference between the angle you're at, and the angle you should be, needs to be within (not > or <) that range Assign yourself an angle buffer so they keep mostly straight. Hint 4: The bots aren't always accurate, they tend to drift sideways. One more, this one I recommend you think about for yourself but if you're truly stuck and keep running into the hazards it may help. Every direction NESW is a multiple of 90. Hint 3: You are only dealing with right angles. So if you know it's a colour and which one it isn't, you know which one it is. Hint 2: There are only 2 colours of walls. Hint 1: Think about what direction you *should* be facing, e.g. Try to think/try solutions before moving to the next hint, as figuring out things on your own is a much better way to understand them than following instructions. I will be encouraging players to give me feedback in particular for the tutorials as this is one of the key areas of LogicBots to get right as it will make the game more accessible.Ican't help you with the special objectives, but if you just want to finish the level here are some hints. The feedback may be a bug that you have found, a suggestion for an improvement or your experience with a particular level.
